About me
I am a resident of Rochester, New Hampshire and have enjoyed producing drawings and paintings throughout my life. In the fall of 2001 I was introduced to scratchboard art through a non-credit course at the University of New Hampshire. I took an immediate liking to this art form because it combines drawing and painting while producing three-dimensional pictures. This medium is very detail oriented and requires both patience and an eye for form, light, and shadow. I periodically take art classes to acquire more skills and broaden my overall knowledge of art. Although I have worked with many mediums, I feel that scratchboard art shows my art expression the best.
